On the Road Again

On the road home.  Some rain and traffic but nothing major.

Lunch at Hardee's with a stop for gas.

Staying at Hyatt Place, outside of Atllanta, Cobb Galleria Smyrna, GA.

Walked next door to  Carrabba's.  We both had some wine, and spaghetti for me and a piece of salmon for Terry.

Relaxing.

Cleaning and Packing

We spent part of the day cleaning.  Just have to wash up bathroom and do the bed linens and towels.  Caretaker is coming at 9.

One of us may have to stay as we've run out of room in the car!  We don't even have our overnight suitcases in the car yet.

After playing Cinderella, we went to the post office and investigated where Rolling Acres Road goes south of 441/27.  Turns out there is nothing much down there before it ends.

We thought we'd go to Bonefish, but the parking lot was jammed so we went to Lil   Bits, a local place that is only open for dinner on Friday nights.  We had chicken dinners.  They had a steady stream of people and two large groups.

We got the printer into the trunk.  There is no room for a sheet of paper in there!

Gas Prices Explode

We bought gas today for $2.39.  When we got to The Villages the same station was selling gas at $2.02.  In two months, that is quite a change in price.

We had a great lunch at First Watch.  Blueberry pancakes for Terry and chocolate chip pancakes for me.  They have the best pancakes.  Of course we had sugar-free syrup.  That makes it a healthy lunch - right?

We walked at Spanish Springs.  They were just starting to close down the farmer's market.

Came home and started packing.  We've got a lot more stuff coming home.  Trunk is packed up except for the printer.  We are hopeful that it will fit in the space we left for it in the trunk.

We will pack up our bags, that we put on the back seat and take into the hotels, tomorrow and finish Saturday morning.  We will also bag our computers Saturday morning.

I got an email from Skokie about alternative side parking, which means there was more snow.  Enough with the snow.  I want Spring-like weather when we return.

I'm almost caught up with the magazines I brought from home and that came in my weekly mail.

Terry is in the den - well, you know why.  I hope she doesn't go into withdrawal on the way home.

Inside Day

We had an inside day today.  It was too dreary, with rain threatened, to go to the Strawberry Festival with Diane and Tom.

Instead we worked, I did laundry, and read.

At 5 pm we went to Diane and Tom's for dinner.  Diane made a yummy Reuben sandwich casserole.

We brought our leftover, unopened, wine and our condiments as we need to leave the refrigerator and freezer empty.

Played Golf, a card game, and then had angel- food cake with strawberries and whipped cream!  Yum!

We are now home.  I'm reading and Terry's in the den for 2 hours of ----ok, you are ahead of me- Shark Tank.

Working!

We both spent a good part of the day working.  I know I say that a lot, so thought you'd like to see our "office."

My computer is on the left and there is a printer that we share between our work areas.  We are set up on the kitchen counter.

We finally left the house to recycle papers at Temple Shalom.

Next we dropped some mail at the local post office.

Our final stop was at Office Depot so Terry could shred some clients' paperwork.  She also purchased some ink for the printer.

Terry talked to Mindy and found out that her car is snug back in her garage.

We had the rest of the chicken that was in the freezer and are working our way through the freezer and refrigerator toward a Saturday departure.

We are reading and soon Terry will disappear into the den to get her "fix."

Fashions Galore

We went to a fashion show at Katie Belle's with some of our friends.

The show was put on by Chico's and another store, Soma.

The lunch was ok, but it was fun.  Some had wine, or champagne.  Also, Diane had a Bloody Mary.  Liquor was really cheap.  I was the designated driver.

The photo below was taken by a lady by the name of Karen, from Conn., who was seated at our table. She and her husband are looking at houses to buy.  They are currently renting.  They want a fixer upper.

Back row Diane (friend since 2nd grade) me, Barb (she and Terry worked together over 50 years ago and have maintained their friendship since then) Terry

Seated: Joyce (friend since high school), Susan(friend from Realtor Past President Group) and Ethel (Sisterhood friend).

Chico's was crowded so we did not attempt it.

Ethel bought them out so they had a good day.  We all got discount cards so that helped her with her purchases.  Susan had helped Chico's economy the day before.

Terry and I went to Beall's Outlet, at Mulberry, but neither of us bought anything.

I've been working since we got back and have a Township Board meeting tonight.  I will video conference into the meeting.

Terry is working now and plans to watch - wait for it - Shark Tank.

We tried some frozen crab cakes tonight and did not like them at all.  Tossed them out and finished the hot dogs.

Music Music Music

Terry was up at the crack of dawn to work.  I was up shortly after to do the same.

We had a bite to eat and then went to the Yalaha Bakery to hear Patchouli.

A couple from Deerfield are groupies and were there too.

We were going to get dessert.  I had #97- they were on #92 and not moving, so I said to myself "screw it" I came to hear the music not stand inside while #92 agonized over what % of rye was in each bread.  We didn't need the calories anyway.

As always, we enjoyed the music.  I bought another of their CD's.

Came home and rested for a few minutes and then met Ethel and Steve at Hope Church to hear one of our favorite entertainers - Mary Jo Vitale.

Mary Jo's husband is one of the pastors at that church.  It was a benefit for the Wildwood Food Pantry and The Wildwood Soup Kitchen.  Entrance fee was food or money.  We gave money.  They serve over 4,000 Families!

We came home for dinner and to watch the Oscars.  Not that we've seen any of the movies.

Worst Boss Ever

My boss made me work all morning paying bills, etc.

She did allow me to go to Sumter Landing for a craft fair.  It was a great fair, lots of exhibitors and lots of viewers/buyers!

I found earrings to match the pendant I had purchased at the Art Fair we schlepped our cousin Rick to at the beginning of the month.

Also got some little gifts.

From there we looked at a house an acquaintance is thinking of buying near Spanish Springs.  It's  a few houses down from the second house we rented down here.

Then went to Aldi for a few things and got some gas.

Also, went to Chase's ATM.  I was running a little short on cash.  I love ATM's - such a clever invention

Terry made a nice dinner and then that mean boss made me work some more.

I was at my computer for hours.

Finished sorting my mail.  Terry got her mail YESTERDAY.  I got mine today.  The mailman had just loaded up his cart to take it inside the mail building when we pulled up.  Terry dropped some out -going mail and noticed my box on top of his pile of in-coming mail.

She asked him if the box was for our address.  He said yes.  He asked her to open our box to prove she was entitled to pick it up.  He then handed her the box.

Spent a little time inviting friends to come to a Sisterhood event called Games Galore.  Last year our group was 4 tables.

Oh So Foolish

That's how I felt this morning when Clem, the care taker, fixed the master bedroom window with WD-40!

We both tried opening the window a few years ago without success.  I'd assumed it was sealed shut.  However, in the cover letter I sent to the landlord with next year's lease, I mentioned the window!

Presto it now works.  I'm a fresh air person and it has driven me nuts to not be able to open the window.  Especially since Terry likes greenhouse temperatures.

After Clem left, we went to Lopez Country Club for lunch.  It's our favorite club and we had not been there at all this year.  Red pepper and Brie soup - to die for.  Terry had mushroom and Brie soup that she said was excellent.  We renewed our membership and learned that Hemingway's at the Havana Country Club is now managed by the same people.  It needed new management.

They are also going to open a Legacy Restaurant in Ocala next fall.

From lunch, we went to Marion Flea Market.  It was freezing inside and most vendors did not open.  We bought nothing and we're grateful to be back in the car.

Next was the Russell Stover candy outlet. What fun.  We bought a few things.

Stopped in Brownwood to check out the newest woman's clothing store.  Outrageously expensive.

Terry talked to our friend Arlene.  She and another friend are coming here in March.

We will miss seeing them. Terry just emailed them everything they need to know about The Villages.

That's it for now, I'm going to watch services at BJBE.  Too lazy to go to Temple here.

Terry is busy working.

This is the third night in a row that the entertainment at the squares has been cancelled due to cold.

Plan B

Baby it is cold outside!  Entertainment in the squares has been cancelled for the past two nights due to cold.

I know cold here is not like cold at home. Girls were off of school because of cold. Jessica was spending her day off with Mindy and Miranda.

We were scheduled to go to an outdoor fashion show at Sumter Landing.  We all agreed that even though the sun was out we were not going to sit outside.

So, we went to Plan B - playing mah jongg.  Originally, we were going to play here.  However, that would not get Ethel's car back in time for Steve to get to his class.

So, Ethel had mah jongg and we brought over a card table.  We initiated her brand new set.  We also brought the pushers (her pushers are at home with her old set)

Joy came to mah jongg with her winter coat!

I had mah jongg a number of times, as did Joy and Ethel.  Terry was waiting a number of times but she did have even one mah jongg.

We came home and had leftovers.  Terry was in the den watching s_____ t___

I'm reading and checking email.

My fairy god mother at the National Association of Realtors got me into my favorite hotel in Washington, DC for the May conference.

Hair Cuts and bye bye Grey

We both had appointments at the beauty shop.  Bye bye grey (oops, you thought that was our natural color)!

Had lunch at Panera - another "free" lunch thanks to gift cards.  Today was Wednesday. so I had tomato soup as they only have the chicken and wild rice on Tues, Thurs and Sat.  Of course, I thought it was Thurs- that was disappointing.

Did some work, changed clothes and went to Tierra del Sol for dinner and singing waiters.  This time we went with Joyce and Jim and Diane and Tom.  We asked to be at Devin's table.

Terry gave Devin the clipping from the paper from when he performed as part of the 3 Tenors + one.  He had not seen it and was thrilled to have it.

Devin without his contacts and wearing glasses.

Road Worthy

We went to Plaza Cadillac this morning to get an oil and lube and have it checked out before heading home at the end of the month.

On the way home, we took 466A and stopped at Anthony's and Beall's Outlet. We did a little damage.

Had a late lunch at Subway.  We had gift cards so had a "free" lunch.

Came home - rainy day - nap was in order.

Watching Shark Tank and saw the one where Scrub Daddy aired.  Most successfully product to date on the show.

One crack - two bam

There were six of us for mah jongg today.  Joy, Joyce, Diane and Ethel joined us.

I had mah jongg twice and Terry had mah jongg once.

We went to Spanish Springs and Market Night.  Lots of people dancing.  I was on a quest for earrings to go with a pendant I got at Art Show.  No luck, but I'll keep looking.

We drove over to Mom and Dad's since we both had a taste for pizza.  They were closed.

So, after getting gas, we went to Sumter Landing.  We've wanted to try Bravo Pizza, so this was their lucky night.

The pizza was thin crust and took almost no time to make.  It was pretty good.

I ran into Publix for English muffins while Terry was on the telephone with Barbara.

Our schedules have not matched other than the one night we had dinner with her and Bernie.  We will see her for a fashion show next week.

Glorious Day

Today was beautiful and sunny.

We went to run a couple of errands and then went to Spanish Springs to the Greek Restaurant - Athens.

We had talked about going to Tarpon Springs for Greek food.  4 hour round trip was silly so we settled for gyros in The Villages.

We sat outside and a bonus was two fellows our age entertaining with 50's and 60's music.  Was fun eating our gyros, sitting outside, and listening to music.  It doesn't get better than that.  Especially when we heard Chicago had snow.

After lunch we walked around Spanish Springs.

Then we drove over to Sumter Landing to hear The Lenny Wilson Trio + a horn player and singer.

We had missed their concert at Hope Church to benefit the local food pantry.

We enjoy jazz and it was great to be outside.

Only one couple was dancing.

We went to Publix for  few things.  When did they start packaging ground coffee in "bricks?"

I had some leftover chicken and Terry had a bagel.  Neither of us was that hungry.

I'm doing laundry and we are both reading.

We should sleep well after all that fresh air.

Fun Evening

Happy Valentine's Day.

We both worked a good part of the day.

It was sunny, and it was too bad that we were inside most of the day.

We also made hotel reservations for the trip home in two weeks.  The time has gone so fast.

We went to pick up Terry's mail and then headed for Ethel and Steve's house for a yummy dinner.

Sush - it's a secret, Ethel cooked.  It will ruin her repution if word gets out!

I had my first glass of wine in 2 weeks.  Was off of booze while on medication, tasted good.

We talked and laughed and ate and had a lovely evening.

Shabbat Shalom

We both worked all morning!  We have such awful bosses!

My mail arrived - another helpful jolly green giant helped get it out of a top box.

We are hopeful that Terry's mail will arrive tomorrow.

Ran some errands and then met Ethel and Steve for dinner at Sumter Landing at Thai Ruby.

The four of us went to Temple.  While waiting for services to start a member from East Lansing, MI gave us each a heart pin she had made.

Mine is on the left and Terry's on the right. Even Steve got one!

We Got Misplaced

We both spent all morning working in our pj's.  Our mother is rolling in her grave!

After lunch, we decided to explore and find the little town of Inverness.

It's on the water but there are no restaurants on the water there.  Disappointed!

Pulled into the Sherrif's Department parking lot to take a business call.  Did not get arrested -yea!

Going back home, saw the sign for I-75 south and got on.  20 miles later realized that we were WAY far too south.  Had to get off and come back the 20 miles.  We could not get lost when gas was cheaper?

Stopped at Sumpter Landing to walk.  It was market night and Terry bought a pair of earrings.  Windy and starting to get cold so we left and had dinner at home!

Tomorrow they are talking about wind chill in the morning.

Of course Terry likes to be WARM.  It's 80 in here and she's bundled up.  I'm just hoping to be able to breath.  I'm going to put summer pj's on tonight if she still needs it so warm.

Lazy Day

We took all morning to get our act together.

Finally had a bite of lunch and took a ride to Ocala.

I did a little damage at Stein Mart (I miss them in Deerfield).

Terry did a little damage in Dillard's.  I try to go to Dillard's when traveling to an area where they have a store.

We got gas on the way back - $2.15. Who knows what the price will be tomorrow.  The Village stations near us went to $2.29 from $2.02

We thought we'd go to Market Night at Spanish Springs but the sun was going down, we were near the house, and hungry.

We were too late for the Jazz concert at Hope Lutheran Church that we talked about attending.

Terry is going into the den at 8 pm to watch Shark Tank and I plan to read.

Busy Day

Terry was playing catch up all day with business and personal stuff. She was at her computer most of the day.

I,too, was tied to my computer for a good part of the day.

I then participated in the Government Affairs Committee meeting for my Realtor Board, via telephone, for 2 1/2 hours.

After that, I put out some fires at the Township.

We then had to hustle to get to the Lifelong Learning College program we had signed up for at Eisenhower Regional Center.

There is a couple who portray 33 different US Presidents and their wives.  Tonight they did Herbert Hoover and his wife Lou.  We always enjoy them.

Terry took the photo during their performance.

He was recovering from a fall from an attic onto a tile floor.  Broken rib and broken pelvis.  He was using a cane, and did not want to cancel!

Too cool to stop at Mardi Gris at Sumter Landing.  Our masks and beads will have to wait for another year.

On the way home, we noticed our local gas station's price per gallon had gone up $.27 overnight.  That station was $2.02 when stations not too far away had gone to $2.15.  Wonder what the price is at those other stations.

We have discovered an evil product at Publix.  It's called chocolate fudge cream pie.  Last night was the second time we had served it to guests.  Now, here is the evil part - leftovers.  We each had a piece at lunch and another one after dinner.

I don't even want to know how many calories each slice contained.

Yes, pine floats next!

Guess what Terry is watching tonight?  No fair,  it only took you one guess.

Family Reunion Day Three

We picked up Judy at 10 and walked in Spanish Springs.  It started to rain and we drove down to Brownwood so she could see the changes to the new square since they were here last.

We met Jeff and Rick at Too Jays in Sumter Landing for deli and talked and talked.

Came back to our house and sat around talking about a million things.

We had picked up fried chicken last night from Publix, along with potato salad, cole slaw, rolls and chocolate pie and that was dinner.  We all pigged out and than sat around and talked some more.

Unfortunately, I had to participate in a Township meeting, via Google Hangout, so left them all still talking in the living room.

They were gone by the time I came out of the bedroom after the meeting.  Nice visit!

Family Reunion Day Two

I was up at the crack of dawn and worked, did 2 loads of laundry, split my new pills, etc, etc, etc.

Terry and I relaxed as did Rick and then we went for lunch.  No line at Bonefish- word has not gotten out that they are open for lunch!  3 eggs Benedict plus Rick had two mimosas.

We then went to an Art Fair that had magnificent art work that is very unusual. Terry and I each bought two pieces of jewelry. We try to go every year as the artists are so talented.  All pieces are one of a kind.  Rick sat by the pool reading the New York Times and was a happy camper.

We came back to the house to do one of two things Glazers do best- nap!

Should you wonder what the second thing we do best might be - that is eat!

We met Judy and Jeff at Tierra del Sol Country Club for dinner and singing waiters!

Our waiter was one of the stars of The Three Tenors + One Concert we saw Friday night!.  His name is Devin and he is 19 and a scholarship winner.  It was a fun night.  The food was good and the entertainment was great.

Family Reunion Day One

We started out the morning going to the book writers' annual event.  Listened to a few children's authors talk about their path to getting published. Very interesting.

Thought we would go to the Chilli cook off at Sumter Landing, but you could not get anywhere near Sumter Landing.  Years ago,  it was at the polo field and there was plenty of room.  We've never understood why they moved it to Sumter.  Certainly cuts down on the revenue for Rotary, who runs it.

So, on to plan B!

Lunch at Panera in Spanish Springs.  As we got near there, Rick called and said he was in town and his hotel room was not ready and he was heading to Publix.  We picked him up at Publix and all had a nice lunch at Panera.  Excellent timing.

We dropped him back at Publix.  He then went to his hotel to register.  We ran to Walmart for my prescriptions.  We also stopped at the postal station.  Terry had to enlist the help of a jolly green giant lady to reach the box the mail was left in.

We met Rick at the house.

We then went to a wine tasting at a winery that makes wine from blueberries. Terry and Rick sampled the wine.  I was the designated driver.  H2O for me.

We listened to some music and took the tour of the greenhouse, the blueberry bushes and the winery.  Interesting.  Very different than grape wine.  Small operation.  Rick bought a glass and then a bottle of their sangria.

We came back to the house and relaxed.  Terry and Rick at some liquor while we visited. Rick took his car back to his hotel and we picked him up there.

Rick wanted seafood so we tried a restaurant on 441/27 that we had been meaning to try since they reopened.  We had all-you-can eat shrimp.  Terry and Rick ordered more shrimp - I was too stuffed!

We dropped Rick back at his hotel and Terry is doing laundry.  We are both reading.

Friday, February 6, 2015

Sunny Cool Day

We went to a craft fair in Leesberg that we've gone to every year.  This year there were not as many vendors and some favorites were not there.  However, Terry managed to purchase two pairs of earrings.

As we were driving back home, I saw a sign at a McDonalds that they had something new with guacamole.  Ever the sucker for guacamole, we stopped in one of our local McDonalds for the chicken sandwich with guacamole.  We used the change we had been accumulating and the sandwiches were two for one.  $.34 out of pocket!  Messy to eat, but tasty.

We came home and I prepared for Monday night's Township meeting.  We both read and napped.

We had to change clothes and be picked up by friends Ethel and Steve for an early dinner at  Hacienda Country Club before our 7 pm concert at St Timothy's Catholic Church.

The 3 Tenors is an annual event to raise funds for scholarships for opera students.  Generally it is held at Church on the Square in Spanish Springs.  However, that venue is being redone into the Sharon Morse Performing Arts Center and has not reopened.

Oscar Feliu is a local favorite that we try to see when possible.  In reading the program, we learned that he went to school at Central Michigan University.  Perhaps friend Martha knows him as she retired from there and still lives in the town.

Restocking

We had less than a half a glass of milk in the refrigerator this morning.  So I threw on some clothes and went out, in the drizzle, to get gas, milk and lottery tickets!

I left a note for Terry telling her that I would be back.  She was still in her room when I got back so never saw the note.

We both worked most of the morning.

I had a REALTOR Board of Directors' meeting.  Half of us were calling into the meeting via conference call.

We had a bite of lunch and then went out to restock the larder.

Got back too late to go to Spanish Springs for Mardi Gris.  Next week is another one at Sumter Landing.  Perhaps we will make that one.

We had salmon for dinner again.  Bourbon salmon but not marinated as long as the other night.  I liked the salmon that had been marinated longer!

Watched Shark Tank with Terry tonight.  I hope her addiction is not contagious.

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Barbra and Frank

Nice stay-at-home day.  We both worked or read most of the day.

Was reading the local newspaper this morning and there was a nice article about the music group that we enjoy Patchouli.  Julie and Bruce played for one of the New York clubs here in The Villages and got a standing ovation!

No sooner had I read the article to Terry her phone rang and it was Bruce.  He was calling to get her credit card for the painting she bought on Sunday.  Their phone had died so their credit card machine was not working.

Terry texted him the newspaper article!

We had 5 pm tickets for the show titled An Evening with Barbra and Frank the Concert That Never Was.  We met Diane and Tom there.  It was a great show at Savannah Center.

Check out their website barbraandfrank.com

The four of us went to Perkins for dinner after the show.  As we were finishing Joy and Bob were just leaving and came over to say hello.  We were all feeling sorry for mutual friends Bobbi and Herb who went back to Chicago in time for the snow storm.

Tuesday, February 3, 2015

Tapas

We did laundry and worked until after 1 pm.

We decided to go to the new Tapas restaurant in Brownwood.

The name is Las Tapas and we got there in time for the special coupon offer. Order two tapas and get a free beer or wine.

Terry ordered two items and got the wine.  I was driving, and on medication, so drinking was not in the cards for me.  We shared a tapas Empana Carne Mojo Rolo  and a Paella pollo y puerco.

Both were good and Terry had a nice buzz going from the wine.

This was the paella.  Different than my favorite place in Northfield, but good.

They did not have the tapas with dates that we have enjoyed elsewhere.

We went to Belks and picked up my makeup and returned some things from yesterday and bought some other stuff.

Went to Dollar Tree to pick up a couple of items before heading home.

Dinner for Terry was cold cereal and I had peanut butter and jelly on crackers.  We were still full from our late lunch.

I have been working since "dinner" preparing for conference calls this week.

Terry is watching TV in the den.  You have two guesses as to what she is watching.  Bet you got it on the first guess- Shark Tank.  There were new shows and reruns to watch.

Book Fair and New Addiction

Went to the Book Fair, run by the ladies of one of the Villages.  The Fair, held at Savannah Center, is held for charity.  We bought two books on tape for the ride home.

We went to Belks to get the makeup that I ordered (gift promotion)- but I was a day early!

Now here's the latest addiction - shopping!  We both bought a number of things at Belks!  Came home for lunch, after I returned something to the local Beall's Outlet.

We then went out again to Beall's Outlet, at Mulberry.  We both bought a number of things.

Tomorrow we go back to Belks to get my makeup and it's senior day!

Came home via Walmart and a new prescription - Mobic.  It cost me $ 4.  I'll take as needed.  It's an anti inflammatory.

Had a quick dinner and headed to Miona Recreation Center to see The Music of American Legends.  There is so much talent in The Villages!  The Ragtime band leader was from The Grand Old Opry!

We met Diane, Tom, Gloria and Lynn there.  Joyce, Jim and her friend Evy were there too.

They performed music of the 20's through the 90's, some gospel, and some country, and ended with God Bless America.

The profits go to Operation Shoebox, a charity for vets, and also to Villages Hospice.

We are now reading.

Except for Stacy everyone was home from work and school today.

I closed the Township today.

Super Bowl Sunday Part Two

Commercials we liked:

Doritos on an airplane

Fiat car with the blue pill

Pete Rose in the "hall" for Sketchers

Doritos - pigs fly

Super Bowl Sunday

Continuing saga of the prescription for Celebrex!  Went to Walgreens near the house.  No record of the prescription AND they don't have the generic Celebrex.  But, another Walgreens that was on our way has it.  Okay,  we go to the other Walgreens.  They have it $149+ for 12 pills!  It's not in my insurance company's formulary.  Talked with the Druggist and she said there is a cheaper drug, but need a prescription, so I'll call tomorrow.

Those who know me know that I never stint on medical needs, but this felt like highway robbery!  I can buy over- the -counter arthritis drugs for 1/5th of that.  I did not see a gun, but it was a robbery!

BTW thanks to all who texted, emailed or called to see how I am.

Went from there to Art in the Park and I bought a pair of earrings, some gifts, and Terry bought two drops.

We also sat and listened to a musical group that we like.  Terry bought one of Bruce's paintings and I spoke with Julie about playing at a Township event.  We did not take a photo today,  but here's one we took last month.

From there we went to lunch at one of our favorite places Lighthouse Point and sat outside and had our shrimp platters.

Our friends, Bobbi and Herb, flew back to Chicago from here yesterday.

I cruelly sent him these photos of one of their favorite places in The Villages, as he was snow plowing his driveway and celebrating his birthday.

From there, we went to Walmart and Terry got a pizza for our Super Bowl party, for two.  We watch for the commercials!

While in Walmart,  we looked at shoes that would be more supportive for my feet and knees.  My nurse let me buy these two pairs,  I'll walk around in the house to see how comfortable they are.

We were too full to eat our pizza.  Veggies and dip was all we had room for.

Not impressed with commercials so far.
