H&R Block and Aldi's

 We are still trying to get the H & R Block program to load.

We knew that the Savannah Recreation Center was closed today, but thought we could use their Internet from the parking lot.  No such luck.  

Went to Laurel Manor Recreation to see if that would work.  Marilyn waited in the car to see if Terry could get it to work at Laurel Manor.  She got into their WIFI only to discover that H&R Block wouldn't let her in to download it as she had too many tries!

We then did some shopping at Aldi's,  We were running low on sangria!!!

When we got home, Terry called H& R Block AGAIN to get a new download code.  We have a busy day tomorrow but will try again on Wednesday.

Marilyn watched Jeopardy (which is a 7 p.m. here)

Marilyn also went on Skokie's Trustee's Meeting 

Terry's neighbor sent her a text saying that a Fed Ex envelope came for her.  Looks like it is from our cousin Rick's attorney - whom we told NOT to send anything to our homes.

H&R BLOCK and Withdrawal

 The morning started with bursts of thunder and lightening and heavy rain.

Fortunately, we had no plans for today and Terry thought she would try AGAIN to download the H&R Block Tax Program.  We turned everything off that would be looking for a WIFI signal.

No phones, no I-pads, no computer (other than Terry's), no printer.  You get the idea.  I expected us to get the DT's as we went through withdrawal.

When it failed to load at one point, we did go into a program about Leonard Bernstein, each on our  I-pads with ear plugs.

Terry spoke with H&R Block  and the program still did not load.  The person she spoke with gave her his life's story.

We will go to AT&T tomorrow and/or one of the recreation centers and see if we can get it to load.

We had another storm just before dinner.

Craft Fair and Earrings

 After breakfast and Terry working with Mindy on getting her tax program to load, we left to go to The Spring Art and Craft Show at Spruce Creek South.

 Spruce Creek South in Summerfield, Florida is an intimate and private 55+ active adult   community. Located just off US-441/US-27, this gated community is situated in the heart of Central Florida just north of The Villages. 

Terry bought three pairs of earrings and Marilyn bought some CUBS earrings from a lady who was born and raised in Skokie.

We next went to Dollar Tree for a few things.

On the way home, we stopped at the Postal Station and a postal employee came out of his "office" to hand Terry her package from Des Plaines.  This time, it was a big package, but still missing some items.

Mindy texted both of us that she had visited our homes and everything was okay and our top locks were locked.  She and Stacy were on their way to meet Julie for lunch.

We came home, ate lunch, and read most of the afternoon.  

Tacos

 We had a quiet morning working at our desks.  It's the first of the month so lots to do.

We were busy until it was time to go pick up the mail (Marilyn's box) and then head to Diane and Tom's for Taco Night!

We had a great evening of make your own tacos and playing the card game called Golf.  The game is played with special cards. Terry and Marilyn were the high scorers - not a good thing!!!

Dessert was the strawberry pie in the photo below - Yummy!

Busy Day

 Before breakfast, Marilyn did three loads of laundry!  Also, she answered student's questions.

Shortly after breakfast, we left the house to run errands.

We started at the postal station to mail some mail.

Next was the Hospital Resale Shoppe where we donated our plastic bags.  We swear that the bags have a sex life as they keep reproducing.

We could not be at the Resale Shoppe without looking around.  Terry found a great top on the $1 rack (no tag telling size).  It's perfect.  There was a line for the fitting rooms, so she just bought it. If it did not fit, she would have donated it back.  

At Mah Jongg, our friend Joy, who works at the Shoppe, took some shoes that Terry and Marilyn were donating.

We had lunch at KeKe's (our first time this year.) We both had eggs.

We then went to Beall's Outlet, where Marilyn returned a purse she bought the other day.  If you are keeping track, Marilyn kept the two pairs of shoes that she bought at the same time.

Our last stop was at St. Tim's to recycle our newspapers.  

At 2:30 Marilyn went into a REALTOR Political Committee Meeting, via Zoom, out on the Lanai.

We both signed up for Barry Bradford's presentation about Jewish heroes of the Civil Rights Movement..  He did the presentation for the Cook Library.

Beautiful day for a ride

 At breakfast, we listened to the latest episode of Prosecuting Donald Trump.

We then left the house to meet Dorothy and Steve Stewart for lunch at the Brandon Mall - Bahama Breeze.

We came home and Terry did laundry and Marilyn worked and then rested.

We had a light dinner, watched Jeopardy, and went on to our Zoom Sisterhood Meeting.

Mah Jongg

 After working in the morning, and after lunch, we went over to Diane's to meet the girls for mah jongg.

Diane, Joy, Joyce, and Ethel played.in addition to Terry and Marilyn.  WE FORGOT TO TAKE A PHOTO AGAIN.  Ethel leaves in two days.

We stayed after everyone else left so Diane could show us the additional work she has done on the albums of her family and Tom's family.

After viewing Diane's hard work, and engaging with Tom, we left for Publix.

Since we only needed a few things, Marilyn waited in the car.

On the way home we encountered a lone bird on the road.

After dinner, we went on a Barry Bradford presentation on what happened in February.  During the presentation, he went from his second floor office to his basement to finish the presentation because of a tornado warning.  We both were getting the warnings also, even though we are 1,000 miles away.
