We went to Too Jays in Spanish Springs. No line!
Fortunately, there was plenty to choose from on their menu - so everyone found something that they enjoyed.
We went to the Carriage Museum for a tour and had a great docent (former parole officer from New York state).
Betty took lots of photos for her Dad who loves horses - he played polo in College. Her Dad is 96! His grandmother was our grandfather's sister. We are much younger than he as his grandmother got an early start in having children (she had 8) and our grandfather got a late start in having kids.
We than took them back to their hotel for Betty to rest.
They drove to our house and we all went to Cheng's, to meet with Ethel and Steve. Ethel and Steve did not go to Temple Shalom with us.
The spiritual leader's adult daughter was being bat mitzvah. It was a long service as a result. Good thing Steve did not go, I think it would have exceeded his tolerance threshold.
