Forgot to write the blog yesterday.
Terry went onto our Temple's Symposium about 11 a.m., and a few minutes into it, our electricity at the house went out!
She took her phone into the sunroom, and she and the resident gecko(s) watched most of the rest of the Symposium.
At 11:30, I went onto the Temple Emanu-el /Stricker Center's interview of an author - Anna Quindlen being interviewed by Zibby Owens. I had to do it on my I-pad, from my bedroom, because of the outage.
The property manager said it was a area-wide outage.
We were trapped because we could not get the car out of the garage without electricity!
About 2:00 something the electricity came back on!
We left the house around 4:30 to go to Oakwood Express, to meet Ethel (Steve was in Chicago), for their Tuesday rib dinner special - full slab for about $13, with two sides! Regular price $20.
After dinner, we stopped at Beall's and I returned some shoes and some undies, while Terry went next door to Dollar Tree to pick up some items.
We came home to Zoom with Barry Bradford and his monthly current event's program. It was very interesting.
