Cousin Rick - Day Two

Worked this morning until it was time to pick up Rick and Elaine at their hotel (Marriott at Spanish Springs).

Drove down to Brownwood, to TooJays,  before doing our tour of Fenney (the part of The Villages that is not connected). We all had something different to eat and then shared the Killer Chocolate Cake - oh my God!!!!

Elaine, Terry and I walked over to Chico's and then we went home to rest and clean up for dinner.

We had a 7 p.m. reservation for dinner. We picked Rick and Elaine up at their hotel. We went to Rose Plantation for the most amazing dinner.  They had just opened last year and we wanted to try it and Rick and Elaine were game.  We all enjoyed our dinners - Terry kept saying it was the best meal she had in a long time.  Terry and Rick both had rack of lamb, Elaine and I both had duck.

We sat on the enclosed porch and it was delightful.
