Shell Oil Reunion

While Terry cleaned the carpets this morning, I went to have a pedicure with Kelly at Angela's Nails, close to the house.  She did a nice job and the shop was very serene!

Went to Chase Bank, got a car wash at the neighborhood Shell station, and then stopped at Publix.

When I got back, the carpets looked lovely and Terry was a happy camper.

Worked a little and read a little.  It was cool, but not cold and the sun was out, so a nice day in The Villages.  I got to wear my Villages sweatshirt and was very comfortable. (Ida, Terry and I bought the sweatshirts at Sumter Landing - they were so well priced we could not resist).  I was glad to have it on such a cool day.

We got dressed in better clothes and went to meet an old friend of Terry's (with whom she had worked at Shell Oil Company).   Terry and Barb worked together when they were young marrieds.  Barb and Bernie have been in The Villages for 15 years, when Spanish Springs was the only town center and their area was the new area.

We had a yummy dinner at Oakwood (famous for their ribs) and had a great time catching up.

After dinner, we went to their lovely home for dessert.

It was good to see them after all of these years.  None of us has changed at all!!!
