Still COLD outside, but the wind has died down.
Left the house at 12:45 to pick up Arlene and Joan to get in line at the Studio Theatre. Met Ethel and Steve and Diane and Tom. Seats are not reserved and we needed 8 seats for the 2 p.m. performance..
The play Frankie and Johnny was "different" and it was the first time I have ever ordered tickets having to acknowledge that there was sexual content and that we were okay with it.
The play was nothing to write home about, but the acting was fairly good.
Thought we would eat at the restaurant at The Studio, but they wanted to seat us at a table in the screened area and it was TOO COLD THERE.
Diane called The Glenview Country Club and they gave us a beautiful round table in the dining room, in a quiet corner. Everyone enjoyed their dinner.
Stopped at the mailbox and my premium forwarded box was there and Terry had her first piece of forwarded mail. Fortunately, a gentleman, who was taller than Terry, was able to get my box out of one of the top mailboxes.
Our friend Joyce's granddaughter, Brandie Tennell, will be skating in the National Skating Championships on NBC tonight. We have the TV set to watch her.
Update: She won the nationals - on to the Olympics!
