A Taste of Home

We both were busy this morning.  I had more needy students than usual and was also doing laundry.

We like to explore new places, but everything we wanted to see was too far away.

So, we headed to the Great Chicago Fire Brewery and Taproom, in Leesburg, for lunch instead. 

We both had beef sandwiches.  Not as good as Portello's, but not bad.

We sat outside and listened to bikers at other tables - interesting lifestyle.

After lunch, we went to check out a store that advertises in the newspaper.  We bought nothing.

Today was Wednesday, so we went to Sumter Landing to check out the vendors.  Very disappointing.  Very few vendors and people compared to other years.  We left before the music started.

We came home with the intention of having appetizers and wine outside on the patio, but it was already getting dark so we had our little repast at our dining room table.

Listened to the news until we could not stand it any more.
