Nice Day for Exploring

Today was on the cool side so after breakfast, working and doing laundry (Marilyn) we decided to explore the Grand Oaks Resort where the Carriage museum is located.

The resort never materialized (it was supposed to be a hotel).  There are some cabins and an RV Park and the Bistro Restaurant.  The Carriage Museum is closed for "remodeling."

Lunch was very good.  I had a cheeseburger and Terry had a salad.

Somehow Terry thought the rear end of the horse was more attractive.

After leaving there, we went to check out the new Dollar Tree off of 466A between Powell and Highway 301.  A lot of cars were in the parking lot and the store looked as if the locust had been there.

We ran a few more errands and then came home to a light supper and laundry (Terry).
