We brought some chicken for the Friendship Salad. I was seated at Table 2 and Terry and Diane were at Table 3, Karen was at Table 7. Everyone brought something to put on the salad. The club supplied the lettuce, dressing and dessert. Cost was $3 per person.
The speaker spoke about the First Ladies- a little gossip about the first ladies (nothing about the current first lady). Fun program.
We left the Truman Recreation Center after the program and went over to the Hospital Resale Shop, where Terry found a pair of pants. We ran into Karen at that shop.
We next went to Marie Rose, another resale shop. I bought two tops.
Came home to eat dinner. We watched Finding Your Roots before Terry went into a business conference call with Mindy and their staff.
I watched DT's speech to the nation. I have nothing to say in polite society.
