Today we went to our bridge class and were all feeling a little overwhelmed. The good part was the teacher brought M&M candies to illustrate a minimum, medium, and a maximum hand. The candies were good and gave us needed energy to absorb what we were learning.
David and RoseAnn were as confused as we were. They both signed up for the next series of bridge lessons. Unfortunately, we will be back in Chicago for those. We'll have to find some lessons in Chicago.
After bridge we met with Ethel and Steve and Sharon and Norman for a Chinese dinner at the little place near us. Fortunately, we had made a reservation as they got busy and every table was taken and people were out the door for takeout pick ups.
After dinner, we went to Temple and said kaddish (memorial pray) for our grandfather, R.D. Glazer.
Said the prayer for healing for our "brother-in-law" Phil, in Indianapolis.
Came out of Temple and it was RAINING. Can you believe it??? It is supposed to get a little colder tomorrow too - what nerve. Those of you in the north - ignore my complaining!
