We had planned to go to see Frank Lloyd Wright buildings about two hours away, but the forecast was for rain, so instead we took a day off and are NOT RUNNING AROUND today.
We have not left the house. Both of us finished our bridge homework and agreed that we don't have a clue. This week was the opening bidder's rebids - my mind is swimming!
Terry and I had picked up a package of wild rice soup when we were at Entenmann's Outlet the other day and thought today would be a good day to try it and to add some leftover chicken. It was great! Here's a photo of the package. Online it is available through Amazon. Will look at Entenmanns again when we are out that way.
If you have been paying attention, you know that it is my favorite soup! Color me happy!
We both are catching up on some reading. Terry transferred some books to her Nook and is reading on that. I'm still playing catch up with the magazines that I brought from home. Of course, the weekly mail keeps bringing more.
In a few minutes, I have to participate in a Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation meeting, via telephone, so I'm working on this lazy day.
We just hear thunder, so maybe the threat of rain is going to be real for the evening.
Just heard from another friend from high school and we are going to have a Kelvyn Park reunion for lunch on Monday with six of us!
