We left the house about 2:30 p.m. to go to the Arts and Crafts Fair in Lady Lake. It is Super Bowl Sunday, and it was quiet there (yesterday, I'm told, was well attended). We got a parking space right in front and as we got out of the car we could hear music from the stage. The girl's voice sounded so familiar, and as we got closer, I said to Terry that I thought it was the same group that played at Oakton College for the Empty Bowls Charity Event.
We walked around and waited for the group's set to be over and then went up and asked if they had been in Des Plaines in the Fall. It was the same group-Patchouli! Bought one of their CD's and had them autograph it. They are really good. Her folks live in Florida so they try to get warm-climes winter gigs.
On the other side of the park was a barber shop quartet.
After the craft fair, where we did not purchase anything but the CD, we went to Dollar Tree to purchase a few cards, etc.
Then went to Belks as Clinque was having a sale/free gift, and I was running low on my makeup. Bought a few other things too.
Terry talked to Stacy, and Dave is doing okay. He's going to be laid up for a few weeks. She's waiting on him hand and foot and is tired.
Went to Aldi's and Walgreens and then headed home to watch the Super Bowl - NOT! Probably will finish my bridge homework. I swear I read it and promptly forget it - you need how many points to respond????
