I don't want to say that I am behind in reading, but I've just started to read magazines from June!
At home, I just don't have time to read as I do down here. So, every winter, for the past four years, I pile the unread magazines into a bag and lug them down to Florida. Usually, I'm able to get most of them read, along with a couple of books, by the time we leave in March.
Terry has read four or five books since we've been down here, so she's enjoying some reading time also.
I've downloaded some books to my I-Pad, but the magazines and some "real" books will come first.
When not reading today, we did go to Kohl's, Ross, and Beall's, on lookout for some tops, but came home empty handed.
Nice day to just catch up and enjoy some quiet time. The end of January and a good part of February should be very busy, so we are getting our relaxation in now.
Jeremy and Terry just texted each other and he had a great time this weekend. His school was selected, AGAIN, to put on one of their plays downstate after winning a high school competition. He does tech (lights, etc) and has enjoyed the experience.
This is his senior year and he has selected Michigan Tech (in the U.P. of Michigan) for college. He got a wonderful scholarship, which has his parents thrilled!
I had hoped that he would go to Northern Illinois so we could drive over and take him to dinner every so often, as we were able to do when his Mom and Aunt were there. Do you think he picked some place eight hours away to avoid dinner with us?
