Watched the Democrat women pose for a photo. Saw Senator Mark Kirk walk up 45 stairs to the Senate! Wow, has he worked hard to get to the point where he could return in such an amazing fashion.
Watched the contest for Speaker of the House and then Terry was ready to get out of the house.
We stopped at Diane's and got Terry's mail (it had been delayed at her post office).
From there we went to the new movie house, at the new square, and saw Guilt Trip. Enjoyed the movie and it was just what I was in the mood for today.
Ducked between the rain drops to eat at one of the newer country clubs - Bonifey. We had sandwiches and then shared their amazing chocolate bread pudding with ice cream and chocolate sauce. We finished the dessert before thinking to take a photo - sorry.
Terry took a photo of the booth as it is such an interesting pattern.
She also took a photo of me answering Mindy's email, wherein she attached an article about Mark Kirk from the Herald paper.
