We had a busy morning working and ordering tickets for a show in March (Grease) at the Savannah Center. We are missing that show at the Marriott and gave the kids our tickets.
We left the house at 11 a.m. to pick up Arlene and Joan to go for lunch at Eaton's Beach.
They told us they have another roommate, unpaid....a frog in Joan's toilet. Their neighbor got a bag and removed the frog.
At Eaton's Beach, the waitress informed us that there was no drinking water as the water was being repaired (we saw the large equipment at the corner when we parked). We all had to order a drink, where generally we only drink water. They made some extra money on the deal.
Here we are right above the water on the screened porch. Lunch was good and we enjoyed our meals. Sorry it's not a great photo, but it was taken into the sun by the waitness.
Terry took a photo of Joan and Arlene on the big chair as we were leaving. It was their first trip to Eaton's Beach.
We came home to use the washroom, as the washrooms at the restaurant were not working.
Shortly after, Terry and I went to Belks and Terry hit the jackpot with three cute pairs of slack for around $20 total.
I got a raincoat for $29 (original price $69). Also, Clinique gave me a sample eye liner and some foundation!
I also bought some earrings to go with a piece of jewelry that was our mother's. Terry bought some earrings for herself and another pair as a gift for a friend's birthday.
We came home to listen to the swearing in of the Chief Justice and the members of the Senate in connection with the impeachment of Trump. Again, we had wine and will need lots more wine to get through this time in history.
