Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance

We both did some work this morning.  Terry, in attempting to use her bank's app to deposit a check, learned that there is a dollar limit to what can be deposited via the app.  Her check was over the limit.  Who knew????

After breakfast, I went out into the backyard and sat and enjoyed the quiet and the birds.

Finally came in and made some telephone calls and had more work to do, but it is an easier pace here.

After lunch, we went to the post office so I could get something into the mail to IMRF (those nice people who are going to be sending me monthly checks - called a pension).

We went to get our pedicures - hence the maintenance reference.  We both had men technicians do our pedicures.

We came home in time to watch the House of Representatives "Managers" send the Articles of Impeachment over to the Senate.  Lots of Pomp and Circumstance as they walked from one side of the Capitol to the other to deliver the documents.  Senate swears in everyone tomorrow, including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

After watching the ceremony on TV, Terry and I had some wine and toasted our country in hopes that our country can survive this and be better for it.  Only time will tell what impact this will have on our country.
