After breakfast, we left the house to drive to Brandon to meet our "sister" Betty's step children.
We met at the Red Lobster, in Brandon. It's a long ride for us and for them too, but it was fun seeing everyone. Elyse, Mark and Katya we see more frequently as they live in Cape Coral, but still it has been two years since we saw them. Shelle, who lives in St. Louis, we had not seen in a long time. It was a fun lunch.
After lunch, we went to Costco and loaded up the car with our purchases. There isn't a Costco near us so we loaded up. Even though we have a membership in Sam's Club, it is not the same.
Fortunately, I had brought down two insulated bags and we loaded one with the hot chickens and one with the cold foods. We also had a box with things that did not need an insulated bag.
When we got home, Terry cut up the chickens for our freezer and organized the groceries - some of the groceries for our dinner party on Wednesday night.
We got to rest for a few minutes before we had to pick up Arlene and Joan to go to Ethel and Steve's house. We had a yummy dinner at their house and I'm stuffed. Lots of laughs and good conversation.
