We both did some work and then headed out to run some errands.
By the time we had completed our errands we had no time to stop for lunch, as dinner had to get into the oven.
We got home and Terry put the pot roast and some veggies into the oven.
The table was set and we were ready, except we needed some ice cream and I ran to Publix to get some and to stop to get the mail.
A piece of Terry's junk mail from home made it here, other stuff she's waiting for has not found the mailbox here as yet. I think she'll be calling the Des Plaines Post Office again this year! 😩
At 6 p.m. Joyce, Diane, Tom and Cheri arrived. We had a nice evening and played cards after dinner.
After they left, Terry said - we forgot to take a photo. Shame on us!!!
