Busy Day

We had breakfast, did some work, and then left the house to meet our friend Martha Smith, from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and some of her friends from there.

We met at the Lighthouse Restaurant and had a nice visit.  We were disappointed not to see her friend Marcella who did not come as she was getting a cold and did not want to infect everyone.

Left side of the table Left to Right - Sue (Chuck's wife), Gail Miller (Yooper - originally from Upper Michigan), Martha Smith, Terry.

Right Side :  Me, Mary Ann- (Marcella's sister) and Chuck (he was Martha's Department Head at Central Michigan University).

We went from lunch to Belk's where Terry returned both pairs of shoes (if you are keeping track).

While she was returning her shoes, I was at the Clinique Counter, planning on picking up my pre-order for the sale.  They lost my order.  I'm going back tomorrow.

We went to Dollar Tree for some items and then came home to rest for about an hour.

We had cheese and crackers and left to go to a Seeds of Hope Concert, at Hope Lutheran Church.  They raise money for the Wildwood Food Pantry by putting on concerts at various places in The Villages.  http://www.seedsofhope-wildwood.com/Lenny.html

We met Joyce and Evy there and Joyce's friends Sandy and Ron.  Diane and Tom came just before the concert started.  She just came from the doctor who is sending her to another doctor for a shot as the hip pain is still bad.

We came home and both wanted a little dessert.  I had a piece of apple pie and Terry had some ice cream.
