I woke up early and did laundry and started working on answering student questions - a lot of student questions!
Terry woke up a little later and was busy too.
The cleaning lady, Lori, and her crew (one other person) came and cleaned.
To get out of their way and to participate in my REALTOR Board's Contracts and Forms Committee Meeting, I sat in the car, in the garage. No, the car was NOT running.
I finished the call inside of the house, after the crew left. Terry turned the oven onto self clean and we opened windows. She was happy with the results. I've never owned a self-cleaning oven, so it was interesting.
We then had lunch and prepared the dining room table for canasta (took out the leaf). Arlene and Joan came over and we had a good game. Arlene and I did much better this week. Of course, all of the jokers were in play!
Arlene and Joan brought us some leftover food that they will not be able to finish before they leave on Saturday.
We had dinner and then checked our email and Facebook.
I learned that a long-time friend, Jeff Lasky, is our new Executive Officer for our REALTOR Association. Exciting times.
Also, learned that a member of Temple lost her father in the shooting at the Miller-Coors Campus shooting in Milwaukee. Yesterday, I had a call from Judy Glazer asking if the shooting was on Miranda's Campus. I got the call, from Judy, while I was at the Temple Concert. My telephone had been on silent and I checked it when I went to the ladies room. I immediately texted Miranda and she did not know what I was talking about. A few minutes later she texted me back where it was not near her school campus, and at a business campus. Sad, sad times.
