Change of Plans

After working on students' questions (lots of them today) and having breakfast, we left to go to Bank of American.

We then went to Russell Stover's Parking Lot  to meet Ethel Rudolph, thinking the three of us were going down to Dade City to meet Carol Romberg and Harry Strout, who were going to be driving up to Dade City from Trinity, Florida. 

Just as got to the parking lot, Harry called and said that Carol was not feeling well and had gone back to bed.  So we cancelled the trip to Dade City.

We called Ethel,  who had just arrived also, and agreed that the three of us would have brunch together at Too Jays in Brownwood.

After brunch, Terry and I went to Colony Plaza and Beall's Outlet.  We both bought some shoes.  Terry bought a navy sweater for Joan. as Joan had been on the look out for one.

I'm going to walk around in the shoes (two pairs will not work) but I'm hopeful that two will work.  I had knee-high hose on so could not really tell the fit of the sandals.

Terry's going to try on the shoes she bought there and may keep those and return the ones from Belk's, or STAY TUNED.

We then stopped in at Diane and Tom's latest flip to see their son Rick, who has been coming up from Tampa to help with the rehab.  We had not seen him since Diane and Tom's 50th wedding anniversary.

They are coming along with the property and the kitchen looks great.  Ran into Diane and Tom's friend, Karen, as we were coming into the property and she was leaving.  She was showing it to a neighbor.

Went to Target for a couple of things and then to the Beall's Outlet in the same shopping center - Terry got a cute pair of shoes there.  I bought nothing.

After dinner, Joan came over and tried on the navy sweater and it was perfect on her - color her happy with her personal shopper.  She and Arlene had gone to the movies in the afternoon.

We had dinner and are doing some reading.  Talked with Stacy and then Betty.  Glenn texted that he would be on his way back to Chicago (from Naples where he was with some cousins) and would pass by here on Monday and did we want to have breaskfast at 8:30 Monday morning.  Unfortunately, we will be on our way to Sarasota at that time on Monday.
