Jazz and Farewell Dinner

After breakfast, we went to the Savannah Center for a noon jazz concert.  We brought our lunch and heard great jazz for an hour.

The big group calls themselves the Part-Time Jazz Ensemble.  Since some of them are snowbirds, and only here part time, they are the Part Time Jazz Ensemble.  They were good and it was an enjoyable afternoon.

Just before the concert started, Ron (my handyman) put me on Face Time with my friend Bob (a home inspector) and his friend a mold expert.  Bottom line, they don't think there is mold in the bathroom from the flood caused by my neighbor's toilet overflowing.  I've submitted a claim to her insurance company and am waiting to hear from them.

From there, we went to Dollar Tree and purchased a few things.

Next, I dropped Terry off at Publix and waited in the car while she got a few items.

At 5:30, Arlene and Joan arrived for dinner - a farewell dinner since they leave tomorrow afternoon.

They brought more grocery items that they did not use.

Terry heated up our last Costco chicken, along with veggies, salad, bread and rice.  We had a yummy piece of cake (split 4 ways) that Barbara and Bernie had brought and has been in our freezer since.

I just finished opening my postal box and most of the mail was campaign literature, charity requests, and bills.  A few magazines did sneak in there.
