Change of Plans

Our plan was to go to hear Patchouli at Yalaha Bakery.  However, when we woke up it was raining and the forecast for the rest of the day was not good.

Texting back and forth, with Joan,, we decided that we would not go to the bakery and sit in rain.

I was feeling a little guilty about that decision until I got a Facebook message from Bruce and Julie that the bakery had cancelled them.

So Plan B was to play mah jongg in the afternoon.  Arlene, Joan, and Joyce came over and we played mah jongg for a couple of hours.  Arlene and Joyce did not win once, Joan was hot and had multiple wins.  Terry and I did okay.

Arlene brought over a book that she had been reading, a mystery that included recipes.  There was much conversation about a recipe in the book made with pork chops.  So, Terry made us pork chops for dinner (not the recipe in the book - but good).

We were both reading for the rest of the night - I am only one day behind now on the newspapers.

I was also watching old reruns of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon on my phone.
