We worked and read for a good part of the day and then went to Michael's as Terry was looking for a chain for the drops she bought. She had no luck.
We came back to the house and Terry had to write some checks for Sisterhood and I took a call about the Township.
We decided to drive directly back to Chicago and I made the hotel reservations. We already have plans to have dinner the second night on the road with Ethel and Steve.
We finally got out of the house and we were a little late in getting to Joyce's. Everyone was surprised that we were not there first and they started to get worried - we have a reputation for being early
We had a delicious dinner with Joyce, Evie, Diane and Tom.
Evie's cord for her oxygen was the longest cord and we were all worried about stepping on it and causing the oxygen to stop flowing.
We played GO and Diane won! Terry was the biggest loser! Not that we play for money!
We forgot to take a photo!
As we were riding home, Terry was reading her email and learned that a childhood Temple friend (who is much younger than us) has gone into hospice. She's the second friend this week to go into hospice. Our friend Audrey's husband is the second one. Very sad.
