Opera

Today was a working day and then we got ready to go to one of our favorite things in The Villages.  The Three Tenors + One.  It's an annual concert put on by the Villages Opera Club to support scholarships for opera students.

Devin Eatmon, one the Tenors, was our waiter multiple times a number of years ago when the singing waiters were at a local country club.  The country club is now a small theatre.

 

People were lined up to talk to the singers.  The tall young man is Devin.

After the concert, we met Ethel and Steve, who were at the concert also, and decided to go to TooJays for dinner.  We had a yummy dinner.  There was a little wait but it wasn't too bad.  As Steve said it was going to be a wait wherever we went.

Arlene and Joan were on their way to dinner (they were seeing the later performance) and we ran into them.
