After working and breakfast, we went over to Walgreens for Terry to pick up a prescription. The prescription was transferred from Walmart, who could not fill it. It cost her considerably more money at Walgreens and she'll be following up on that.
We then went to check out the house that Diane and Tom bought, next door to them, to fix up and flip. They have a lot of work ahead of them, but they can do it.
We had a bite of lunch and then went over to Arlene and Joan's. We were supposed to have played mah jongg with them and Ethel. Ethel, however, had fell ill during exercising and was not feeling up to playing. Terry suggested that instead of mah jongg, Arlene and Joan teach us canasta. I printed the rules out and they were not in complete agreement with them, but we played. Still lots to learn.
We then headed to Spanish Springs for dinner. We decided to go to Gator's Dockside for dinner. (There is no body of water nearby, so it really is not Dockside of anything- also no gators in sight). We sat outside and the food was good.
It started to pour, which squashed the plan to walk in the square and view the vendors. By the time we all visited the restroom, the rain had stopped and we walked across the street to the theater to see a movie of the Madison Square Garden concert with Josh Groban - it was a one-night only opportunity. We went to the 7:30 performance and there had been a 5:30 performance. We had to wait in the lobby, in line (we were the third group) until the 5:30 performance exited - we were in line about 40 minutes. The concert was excellent, but the theater was much too cold.
