Technology and Blood Pressure

I got up early and answered student mail.  Terry got up and went to her computer to discover that she had our Internet on her computer twice (both showing connected) - one of which was a public site and not our secure Internet.  She also could not connect to a business hosted site or her email.

Hours spent speaking with Comcast and Samsung were useless.  It started about 10 a.m. or so and went to about 2 p.m. with no resolution.

She had her telephone on speaker and was speaking with people with deep accents (which she seemed to understand, but I could not).

My frustration level was escalating and I left to go to the bank and to the postal station.

When I got back she was no further along than when I left.  I called my computer experts at my REALTOR Board and they sent me some ideas. Terry now cannot get onto the Internet to try what they sent.

Terry has been taking her blood pressure most mornings - I suggested that she not take it today!  I know mine was sky high just listening for hours to her conversations.

It was a beautiful day and we won't have any more of those for a long time, as rain is in the forecast for the next couple of days and then we go home to Chicago - boo-hoo.

We finally got in the car and headed out.  Planned to go recycle our newspapers (even put them in the car) but forgot!

Went to Sumter Landing and walked around, in and out of stores (bought nothing), and listened to the music for a few minutes.

Came home for dinner - we are cleaning out the freezer and refrigerator.

At 8 p.m. here, I did Google Hangout into the Township Meeting.  The meeting, fortunately, did not last too long and we are both reading now.

Our Senior Rabbi's father in law just passed away and her husband is on his way to Israel and she will follow.  Terry's been keeping track and that is the 10th death since we have been down here.  Scary as hell as some are older, but a number are our age or younger.
