Shabbat Shalom

After breakfast  and lunch, and working, we left the house because we had a lot of errands to run.

Our first stop was to return the awful key lime pie to Publix.  From there we went to the Temple to recycle three bags of newspapers.

Stopped at Walgreen where Terry got some liquid band aid for her hand.

Next was AAA for some maps of states that we will be going through.  Terry had purged her maps when she was on a cleaning spree at her house so we had to replace the maps.

Anthony's had sent me a flyer and Terry wanted to see what they had as everything in the store was up to 50% off.  She got 20% off after they scratched the card I had gotten in the mail.  Terry found two blouses.  She was happy.  I tried on some things but they were all too long.

We stopped at the Dollar Tree on the South end of The Villages and I bought a few things and Terry got some get-well cards.

We had hoped to stop at Stover's Candy but ran out of time.

Came home to change clothes and pick up Arlene and Joan to go to dinner before Temple.

We tried the new Mexican restaurant - Habaneros.  Ethel and Steve joined us for dinner.  Our dinners were all good.

As we walked into Temple, Stacy called to say that Jessica's bowling team, that made the state finals, came in 18 out of 100 teams.  They are staying overnight in Rockford.

The Temple has a new Rabbi, who was losing his voice when he was singing.  Hopefully, it is not anything serious.  He seems to have a good sense of humor.  When he got to the prayer for the ill, he asked people in the audience for names of people for whom the prayer should be said - that took 10 minutes!!!  The choir was full and I only recognized two people from prior years.
